Forged steel gate valvesare mostly designed with reduced bore. Compared with cast steel gate valve of the same diameter, the flow rate is slightly smaller, but the pressure and temperature range are higher than that of cast steel valves.
Advantages of forged steel gate valve:
1. The forged steel gate valve has small fluid resistance, and the sealing surface is less brushed and eroded by the medium.
2. Forged steel gate valve is suitable for small-diameter pipelines of Class150 ~ 2500, applicable temperature:-46℃ ~ 425℃ (carbon steel) or 198℃ ~ 816 ℃ (stainless steel), used to cut off or turn on the medium in the pipeline.
3. The shape of the welded and forged steel gate valve is simple, the structure length is short, the manufacturing process is good, and the application range is wide.
