The butterfly valve is a simple regulating valve. The butterfly valve that can be used for the switching control of the low-pressure pipeline medium refers to a valve in which the closing part (the valve flap or the butterfly disc) is a disc and rotates around the valve shaft to open and close.

The variety and quantity used continue to expand, and the development of high temperature, high pressure, large diameter, high sealing, long life, excellent regulation characteristics, and multi-valve. Its reliability and other performance indicators have reached a high level.

 

With the application of chemically resistant synthetic rubber on butterfly valves, the performance of butterfly valves is improved. Synthetic rubber has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, erosion resistance, dimensional stability, good resilience, easy forming, low cost, etc., and can select different properties of synthetic rubber according to different use requirements to meet the working conditions of the butterfly valve.

 

Because polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) has strong corrosion resistance, stable performance, is not easy to age, has low friction coefficient, is easy to form, and is dimensionally stable, and can improve its comprehensive performance by filling and adding appropriate materials to obtain better strength and friction. The butterfly valve sealing material with lower coefficient overcomes the limitation of synthetic rubber. Therefore, the polymer material represented by polytetrafluoroethylene and its filling and modifying materials have been widely used in butterfly valves, so that the performance of butterfly valves Further improvement has been made to produce a butterfly valve with a wider temperature range, a wider pressure range, a reliable sealing performance and a longer service life.
