When the working fluid flows through the gate valve, the flow direction is constant, so the flow resistance is small; the opening and closing direction of the valve flap is perpendicular to the flow direction of the medium, so the opening and closing force is small. When the gate valve is fully open, the working fluid does not directly flush the sealing surface of the valve, so the valve line is not easily damaged. The gate valve is only suitable for full or full closing and is not suitable for adjustment.

1.Different structure

The globe valve structure is that the hand wheel rotates together with the valve stem to perform the opening and closing motion, and the gate valve structure is a rotating hand wheel, and the valve stem performs the lifting movement.

2. Different flow's requirement

The gate valve is required to be fully open or fully closed, and the globe valve is not required.

3. Flow direction requirements are different

The globe valve has a flow direction requirement, and the gate valve does not have an inlet and outlet end requirement.

4. Different sealing

The sealing surface of the gate valve is a small trapezoidal side, and the valve core is detached, which is equivalent to closing the valve. The gate valve is sealed by the side of the valve core, and the sealing effect is not as good as the globe valve. The valve core will not fall off like the globe valve when the valve station is closed.
